During the September 13, 2026 New York–Dallas Sunday night matchup at MetLife Stadium, players, coaches, and staff from both teams were scheduled to wear commemorative FDNY, NYPD, and PAPD hats in recognition of the first responders who served during and after the attacks.
The stadium tribute also featured Ladder 343, a ceremonial firetruck honoring the 343 FDNY members who lost their lives on September 11, along with first responders participating in player introductions, a moment of silence, and other remembrance activities.
