John Harbaugh NY Giants FDNY Hat – A 25th Anniversary 9/11 Tribute

The John Harbaugh NY Giants FDNY Hat is inspired by the powerful remembrance surrounding the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. In September 2026, New York’s team announced a game-day tribute honoring first responders, 9/11 family members, and those affected by the attacks. As part of that remembrance, players and coaches wore commemorative NYPD, FDNY, and PAPD pregame apparel, along with “Never Forget” shirts, and a limited run of hats was offered with proceeds benefiting first responder agencies.

Coach John Harbaugh also spoke publicly about the meaning of the day, calling it “a story of heroes” and noting that the team visited the 9/11 Museum in the spring so younger players could better understand the history and sacrifice connected to 9/11. The National September 11 Memorial & Museum also marked the anniversary with its exhibition “In Their Honor: 25 Years of 9/11-Inspired Service,” highlighting how acts of service grew out of tragedy and touched communities across the country.
